Craig Kaplan is the Chief Customer Officer at Virbela, a virtual world platform for remote work, learning, and events where he leads sales, marketing, and customer operations, overseeing the entire customer journey from branding and messaging, to sales and customer onboarding, to account management and customer success. He has more than 20 years of sales and technology leadership experience, collected at both startups and Fortune 500 companies. Kaplan has served the education community in board positions at UCLA, and in 2017, launched Southern California’s Startup Grind chapter to connect entrepreneurs and investors with local startups.
Melissa Daimler has been an executive at high-growth companies for over twenty years. She now works as an executive coach, advisor, and facilitator. Her primary focus is helping leaders operationalize culture. She led HR for a fast-growing venture-funded startup, created and built Learning & Organizational Development function for Adobe, Twitter, and WeWork. She built a coaching company while also the first employee of Coach University, one of the first leaders in the coaching field. She is a speaker, panelist, and contributor to broad industry publishers including Harvard Business Review (HBR), Huffington Post, Chief Learning Officer, and Chief Talent Development Officer magazines.
