Refund & Cancellation Policy

The events under this Policy are subject to acts of God, war, government regulation, terrorism, disaster, strikes (except those involving the agents), civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or any other emergency beyond the parties’ control including natural disasters, making it inadvisable, or impossible to perform their obligations under this Agreement.

Running Remote Online — May 2021

Paid tickets to this virtual event are non-refundable, but they are transferrable – either in the name of the purchaser to the next virtual event or to another person for use at this event.

Contact for transfer requests. All transfer requests must be submitted with the subject: Transfer May 2021.

Transfer requests are available up to 48 hours prior to event start time on 21 May 2021.

Running Remote Live conference 2020 (cancelled) and (PENDING) 2021

Due to COVID-19, you may either cancel or transfer your ticket for the (cancelled) Running Remote LIVE Conference September 2020.

Full refunds, minus a 10% administration and processing fee, may be requested until 31 January 2021. Alternately, we will retain your booking and transfer your ticket to the next Running Remote LIVE Conference (TBC).

Full refunds in cases of force majeure will be provided to all ticket types.

Pre-sale tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferrable. For all other types the following policy applies:

Refund requests received less than 90 days prior to the event will incur a $35.00 administrative fee.

Request for refunds received less than 60 days before the first day of the event will not be considered.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing; telephone requests are not allowed. All refund requests must be submitted to info@ with the subject: “Refund”.

Letters and/or an email should be received or postmarked no later than 60 days prior to the first day of Running Remote Conference.

Refund will be processed using the payment method used during the checkout process. For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded. The event’s payment gateway is powered by Stripe.

No cash refunds will be processed.

If a ticket holder is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with Running Remote Conference, someone else from the same organisation/company.

Where the ticket holder is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person or to the next event, then normal refund arrangements apply.

The policy as stated on this page is valid from January 2021.
