Jordyne Blaise company wants to promote diversity and inclusion. Yet, companies do not yet understand the importance of making remote work a key part of their diversity and inclusion strategy.

We will be discussing the shift in the workspace and the importance of remote work in transitioning our society from an exclusive, isolating and cubicle work environment, to one that is open, remote and inclusive.

Sahin Boydas is the CEO and Founder of Remote Team. He is a serial entrepreneur living in Silicon Valley. He co-founded movie marketing platform MovieLaLa and sold it to Gfycat. His second company is one of the most successful consumer-facing Augmented Reality apps: Leo AR. Sahin has built and managed 100% remote teams for over a decade.

Dana Loberg is an artist turned serial entrepreneur, the person behind StartX (S19), 500 Startups (B19) and Betaworks Alum. Currently she is working in Silicon Valley building cutting edge technologies in augmented reality & the future of visual communication.

Joe is an investor at Cota Capital, an industry- and stage-agnostic investment firm based in the Bay Area with $500M AUM. Joe has worked on deals from Seed through Series B, with a special focus on startups implementing technology to solve real-world problems while leveraging disruptive business models.

Laurel Farrer is an international remote work expert helping organizations and governments optimize virtual workforces. She is a Distributed Operations Consultant that collaborates with the world’s top remote-friendly companies to strengthen virtual communication, streamline digital processes, and develop long-distance management strategies.

Jordyne Blaise, Esq., is a renowned diversity, inclusion, and equity consultant and strategist. She works with organizations interested in making their vision for equity and inclusion a reality. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in African American studies, and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida. Jordyne’s expertise in Civil Rights enforcement and diversity change management comes from her work with various companies and organizations including Harvard Law School, NC State University and the District of Columbia Government.
