Alina Gonzalez is a certified public accountant with a Master’s degree in Public Policy who discovered a passion for the tourism industry six years ago. She’s spent over two decades managing and implementing public policies, but it wasn’t until she stumbled upon the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sector that she found her true calling. From the very beginning, Alina was captivated by the meetings and events industry and how they could enhance the economic impact on a city and create a lasting legacy in the community.
As the General Manager of the Buenos Aires Convention & Visitors Bureau and working for Visit Buenos Aires, she oversees the MICE segment, promoting Buenos Aires as a premier destination for events. Alina assists companies and associations in organizing their business events and incentive trips in Buenos Aires, ensuring memorable experiences for all involved.
As someone who is passionate about connecting people and ideas, she takes pride in helping companies and associations realize their goals by connecting them with governments, academic institutions, local businesses, and professional event organizers. By facilitating these connections, she is able to create unique and memorable experiences that not only benefit the organizations involved but also have a positive impact on the local community and economy. Alina believes that by fostering these relationships, we can create lasting partnerships and drive meaningful change.
