Wade Foster is the co-founder & CEO of Zapier, a simple automation platform.

In this episode, Wade shares how Zapier was remote from the beginning since it started as a side project and then became a small startup that was short on access to talent and other resources – so the only avenue was to hire smart people in different cities.

Now as a team that’s nearing 100 people, Wade shares some of the different growth milestones and what tactics and strategies they needed to re-evaluate along the way in order to continue building an effective remote culture. But as we’ll see, it’s something that’s still being created.
