Dana Loberg is an artist turned serial entrepreneur, the person behind StartX (S19), 500 Startups (B19) and Betaworks Alum. Currently she is working in Silicon Valley building cutting edge technologies in augmented reality & the future of visual communication.
Dana is a Yale graduate and visual artist. Art has always been a central part of her life as she paints portraits in charcoal as well as her fingerprints. Throughout her career, she’s been able to paint between jobs, after work, weekends and spent many late nights finishing art pieces for shows.
Her career started in the Creative Dpt. of Advertising, working at some of the largest advertising agencies in the world, McCann Erickson NY for several years and J. Walter Thompson in NYC. She connected art and digital world by co-founding MojiLaLa which is the biggest sticker distributor and marketplace of Apple App Store. To date, MojiLaLa has more than 32K stickers and thousands of designers from all over the world.
Dana co-founded LeoApp AR, the world’s first 3D scan and photogrammetry marketplace by maintaining “for artists by artists” mindset. She continues to generate creative concepts for Leo App’s content and also manages the marketing and design team.
Leo is an augmented reality app allowing people to experience advanced augmented reality through realistic animated and 3D objects in the real world. The phone camera becomes a portal and tool that allows anyone to augment their world through Leo. People can customize any surrounding environment into their wildest dreams: expressing themselves in a new mixed reality space, as well as sharing with family, friends and other social outlets.
