Estonia was the first country to launch e-Residency, a digital identity and status that provides the ability to start and run a company remotely from anywhere in the world. Since 2014, more than 70,000 people around the world have joined Estonia’s digital nation as e-residents.

Alex currently leads the global marketing efforts for the Government of Estonia’s e-Residency programme. The main mission of the programme is to help location-independent entrepreneurs and remote-focused companies benefit from Estonia’s innovative business ecosystem and government e-services.

Alex is also part of the team leading the launch of Estonia’s Digital Nomad Visa, the first of it’s kind in Europe. Originally from the United States, Alex previously worked in Washington, DC, for the US House of Representatives and for two industry trade associations.
