In April 2025, we’re taking the Running Remote conference to Austin. Known as the “Silicon Hills,” Austin is home to a vibrant tech ecosystem with startups, established companies, and a supportive community of tech professionals.

The main conference on April 29-30 will take place in FairMarket, right in the heart of downtown Austin.

No, we’re offering virtual tickets this year. Our event is in-person, and attendees will receive access to the recordings 2 weeks after the event, PLUS access to all past Running Remote event sessions.

Yes, tickets are transferable – either in the name of the purchaser to the next virtual event or to another person for use at this event. 

Please contact info@runningremote.com for any transfer requests. All transfer requests must be submitted with the subject: “Transfer April 2025.”

Transfer requests are available up to 48 hours before the event start-time on  April 29, 2025.

If you are unable to join us in person, you may switch your Full Access Pass to a Premium Virtual Pass and transfer your in-person ticket to another person, or to our next event in 2026.

Travel, Venue & At the Conference

Thanks to the venues’ centric locations, you can get from the hotels we recommend you  to both, FairMarket and Inn Cahoots, within 5-10 minutes. Public transport is excellent in Austin. Alternatively, you can get to the venues by Uber or Cabify.

During the main conference (23 – 24 April) we will be serving a buffet lunch, giving you the option to choose your preferences.

Absolutely! 

Our two stages are on the same venue, so you can easily join in on a different session at any time. If you do so, please make sure you enter rooms quietly, without disturbing other attendees.

We highly recommend checking the event Schedule so you can pick the sessions in advance that you are the most interested in and prioritize accordingly. 

We have great Wi-Fi throughout the entire venue, and you can expect a dedicated silent working zone and a designated calling area. 

Yes, you will find a cloakroom on the ground floor of the venue. 

Registration is between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM each day April 29, 30 and May 1 (the latter for TD User conference attendees only).

If you are joining us for the Welcome Drinks on April 28 at 5:30, you can do an early check-in then 😉 

We urge you to come early: we dive directly into the content with the first talk starting at 9:10 AM on both days.

No need to print your name badge in advance, they’ll be printed for you on-site.

You won’t need a visa if you are in the country or coming from Canada. If you are travelling from abroad, you may need to request a Visa or an ESTA.
